  I am disgusted with the behavior of leaders of this church. A wife of one of the pastors messaged someone she did not know but encounter on a social media site. This "godly" woman proceeded to talk down to this person and insult her and followed it up with suggesting the person get counseling. It was appalling to read. This is the exact behavior that keeps people out of church and it's leaders of the church and their wives doing it! You will never bring people to God with a nasty heart intent on talking down to people like they are less than bc they do not agree with you. And to make matters worse, the pastor went to social media to defend and encourage his wife's deplorable actions. Incidents like this followed up with comments like "we are the salt and the light and sometimes salt burns" just sounds like Christianity is being twisted to excuse nasty treatment of others. Jesus would not have talked to people like this with thinly veiled insults and trying to tear people down but slapping a "God bless" at the end to make it ok. Never in my life have I seen a church DEFEND this treatment of other by one of their leaders. My church would never do such a thing and would have issued an apology for how she was spoken to. There are better KINDER ways to try to bring people to God and they clearly don't know how to do that without belittling others.
